And in a blink, we’re home again! What a spectacular and thrilling trip it’s been. Firstly, may I give a huge shout out to my sensational staff team, you have been superb and your energy, sense of fun and desire to provide our students with the best possible experience of this city are really appreciated by us all.
As for this years group, what a dream you have been. I can honestly say that you have made this trip an utter joy for us all. You have embraced every activity and relished every site and experience. Your enthusiasm and competitiveness for numbering off is a first and we LOVED it. I hope you have made memories for life. We are all so proud to be your teachers.
We crammed it in again this year, subwaying, walking and sailing around the sights. From The Statue of Liberty, Central Park Zoo and NBC Studios to the diners, restaurants and giddy height of the Empire State, we have taken it all in.
Our link with the wonderful staff and members at TADA remains a firm favourite for us all. We love visiting you and seeing you perform in your marvellous theatre. Your show this year was as brilliant as always and the performances of your talented cast, simply thrilling. New friendships have been forged and we can’t wait to see you all again next year.
We have each walked a staggering 56.2 miles this week. That’s a grand total of 2416 miles and the equivalent of walking to Rome and back from Lymington, via London!
